St. Stephen Wines is the 'heart' child of California-based marketer Tim Edwards with a percentage of every bottle sold going to a wide variety of organizations charged with mitigating climate change and addressing environmental concerns. With family ties to Chile, Edwards' vision was detailed during his recent appearance at Madrid's COP25. 
St. Stephen’s Oda al Vino line is sourced from a 100% organically farmed vineyard grown with sustainable agricultural methods in one of the best appellations within Chile’s vast Central Valley. Made by José Antonio Bravo von Bischoffshausen—a name that's a both a mouthful to pronounce and a reflection of the wines—is a veteran of other environmentally focused wineries such as Emiliana and Kendall-Jackson. For the moment these reasonably priced reds are only available direct from Edwards in California.

Grapey aroma, light-medium body tasting of mixed berries and spices, fine acid/tannin balance, cocoa-y finish.
Mild hard cheeses and grilled chicken breast over squash salad.

Deep purple appearance, balanced nose and palate, light-medium body, high acidity, medium tannins, blue-purple fruit, medium finish. Sautéed mushrooms & asparagus over rice w/ green herbs.
