Chudleigh’s Apple Blossoms - Instant Apple Pie

I have just been sent a box of Chudleigh’s Crumble Crunch Apple Blossoms. Think of them as apple pies with the pastry curled up around the filling to resemble the bud of an apple tree. The combination of sweet fruit and buttery pastry is addicting. They take 50 seconds to heat up in the microwave (although an underground movement eats them cold) and, like conventional apple pie, they are best with vanilla ice cream. Their individual portion size means that they can be an ideal lunch snack or a dinner dessert.

What’s more they are part of a line of pastries including Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes, and Pineapple Upside Down Cakes, so you can vary them around when you feel like it.

Chudleigh’s is a Canadian baker that is broadening distribution throughout the U.S,starting with Texas and local supermarket H.E.B. They are in the freezer aisle.
